Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), has released the Notifications on the official website for the recruitment of Sub Inspector SI / Assistant Sub Inspector ASI Posts. This recruitment is for 58 positions. SSB application form has started from 21 March 2026 & the candidates can apply until 20 April 2026. Minimum age required is 18 Years & The Maximum Age Is 27 - 30 Years (Post Wise). Eligibility Criteria
Post Eligibility Criteria
Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse)
  • Completed Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) along with valid registration in the Nursing Council.
Sub Inspector (Pioneer)
  • Completed Bachelor`s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
Sub Inspector (Communication)
  • Completed Bachelor`s Degree in Electronics, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or related fields from a recognized university.
Assistant Sub Inspector (Radiographer)
  • Completed 12th (Intermediate) from a recognized board.
  • Two-year Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology or Radiography, along with at least one year of experience as a Radiographer in a radiology imaging center or a minimum 100-bedded hospital.
Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist)
  • Completed 12th (Intermediate) from a recognized board.
  • Two-year Diploma in Pharmacy and must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, along with at least one year of experience as a Pharmacist in a minimum 100-bedded hospital or a recognized institution.
Assistant Sub Inspector (Operation Theater Technician)
  • Completed 12th (Intermediate) from a recognized board.
  • Two-year Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology / Technician, along with at least one year of work experience as an OT Technician in a minimum 100-bedded hospital or a recognized institution.
Assistant Sub Inspector (Dental Technician
  • Completed 12th (Intermediate) from a recognized board.
  • Two-year Diploma in Dental Hygienist and must be registered with the Dental Council of India, along with at least one year of work experience in a dental unit of a dental hospital or a minimum 100-bedded hospital.

Age Criteria
  • Minimum Age : 18 Years.
  • Maximum Age : 27 - 30 Years (Post Wise)
